L'applicazione è progettata per visualizzare e modificare .xml, .html e altri file di testo. Implementata l'opportunità della modifica in due modi: per righe e pagina per pagina.
implementato:
1) la possibilità di aprire file in diverse codifiche;
2) codifiche di auto-rilevamento:
• KOI8-R
• MACCYRILLIC
• IBM866
• IBM855
• WINDOWS-1251
• WINDOWS-1252
• WINDOWS-1253
• WINDOWS-1255
• ISO-8859-5
• ISO-8859-7
• ISO-8859-8
• ISO-2022-CN
• ISO-2022-JP
• ISO-2022-KR
• BIG-5
• UTF-8
• UTF-16BE | UTF-16
• UTF-32BE | UTF-32LE
3) salvataggio del file con la codifica selezionata;
4) creazione del nuovo documento ("buffer");
5) aprire un file da un'altra applicazione;
6) anteprima del file .FB2;
7) invio di un file (con applicazioni: Google Drive, mail ...);
8) copia del documento nella cartella dell'applicazione "XML Editor" (per Android 4.4 o successivo);
9) finestra di dialogo "trova / modifica testo" (menu).
