This version reintroduces a secure PIN e-lock feature. This feature, when set, disables normal use of the scooter, and almost totally locks the rear wheel. We still recommend the use of a physical lock in addition to this e-lock system for your scooter's added security.

We have updated the security of the scooters. You now need a PIN to access the scooters. The first person to connect to the scooter becomes the owner and they can set the PIN. If someone else wants to connect to that scooter, they will need to enter the PIN the owner set. If the owner changes the PIN, the other users will have to re-enter the new PIN.
