Firmo con CIE turns your Android phone into a full digital-signing tool, powered by the Italian Electronic Identity Card (Carta d'Identità Elettronica). No card readers, no extra hardware — just your CIE, your PIN and a few taps.
ADVANCED ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE ON YOUR PHONE
Firmo con CIE produces Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES) compliant with the eIDAS regulation, legally equivalent to a handwritten signature throughout Italy and the European Union.
THE FORMATS YOU NEED
• PAdES for PDFs: signature visible and verifiable inside the document.
• CAdES for everything else (Word, XML, images): the app produces a signed .p7m file automatically.
• Optional time stamp to certify exactly when the signature was applied.
• Long Term Validation coming soon.
A VIEWER BUILT FOR SIGNING
• Open the PDF and place the signature widget exactly where you want it.
• Handwritten signature, custom stamp or personal logo.
• Fill in interactive PDF form fields before signing.
• Verify any signatures already present on a document, including the certificate chain.
FULL CONTROL OVER YOUR CIE
• Unlock a blocked PIN using the PUK.
• Change your CIE PIN directly from the app.
• Run a quick diagnostic on your CIE: chip, certificate and expiry status at a glance.
YOUR DOCUMENTS, ORGANISED AND SECURE
• Import files from your device, photo gallery, via QR code or receive documents shared from other apps.
• Every document stays on your phone — no cloud upload, no personal data collected.
• Optional Google Drive backup so you can recover your files on another device.
• Tags, search and filters keep your archive tidy.
PRIVACY FIRST
Firmo con CIE does not collect personal data. Your identity details and your documents stay exclusively on your device. Communication with the CIE happens over NFC and the entire signing flow runs locally.
WHO IT IS FOR
• Citizens signing contracts, self-certifications, proxies and public-administration forms.
• Freelancers and SMEs collecting on-the-go customer signatures.
• Lawyers, consultants and intermediaries who need to sign anywhere, anytime.
REQUIREMENTS
• Android phone with NFC enabled (Android 8.0 or later).
• Italian Electronic Identity Card (CIE 3.0).
• Your CIE PIN, delivered in two halves by the issuing municipality.
Developed by Cyberneid s.r.l., an Italian company specialised in digital identity and electronic signatures.
