The Book of Jubilees is one of the most important pseudoepigraphic works of the Old Testament, both for its relative extent and for its consistent content.
The feature, very typical of this work, of presenting itself as a revelation made by divine commission and in the first person by an angel "of the face", or "divine presence" - to Moses on Mount Sinai.
