この2Dモンスター/怪獣アクション格闘ゲームでは、ゴジラ・オムニバースのキャラクターを操作して戦うことができます。
このゲームは、2Dの巨大モンスターとの戦闘を軸に展開します。接近戦、掴み攻撃、ビーム攻撃など、様々な戦闘スタイルで戦いを繰り広げます。各キャラクターはそれぞれ独自の特殊能力とアビリティを備えています。全キャラクターに「フューリー」という特殊攻撃があり、これはキャラクターの最大攻撃力として、いつでも戦況を一変させる力を発揮します。ステージによっては、モンスターが投げつけられたり、モンスターが倒壊したりすると、建物が危険となる場合があります。
全てのモンスターは、通常攻撃と強攻撃に加え、しゃがみ攻撃やジャンプ攻撃といった様々なバリエーション攻撃を駆使して敵を攻撃します。
モンスターはどれも同じではありません！強いモンスターだけでなく、弱いモンスターも存在します。プレイヤーはどのティアのモンスターでも、どのティアのモンスターでも戦うことができます。弱いモンスターを操作しているプレイヤーは、さらに1体以上の弱いモンスターとチームを組んで、より強いモンスターと戦うことができます。あるいは、強いモンスターを選んで、ソロの敵や、弱い敵モンスターのチームと戦うのも良いでしょう。
