Mightier aiuta i bambini (dai 6 ai 14 anni) che lottano con le proprie emozioni. Ciò include i bambini che hanno difficoltà con scoppi d'ira, sentimenti di frustrazione, ansia o persino una diagnosi come l'ADHD.
Il nostro programma è stato sviluppato da medici del Boston Children’s Hospital e della Harvard Medical School ed è progettato per creare un modo divertente e coinvolgente per consentire ai bambini di praticare la regolazione emotiva attraverso il gioco... e diventare più potenti!
I giocatori indossano un cardiofrequenzimetro mentre giocano, che consente loro di vedere le proprie emozioni e connettersi direttamente con esse. Mentre giocano, tuo figlio reagisce alla frequenza cardiaca. Man mano che la frequenza cardiaca aumenta, il gioco diventa più difficile da giocare e si esercitano su come abbassare la frequenza cardiaca (fare una pausa) per guadagnare ricompense nei giochi. Nel corso del tempo e con la pratica/il gioco di routine, questo crea "momenti più potenti" in cui il bambino respira, fa una pausa o utilizza automaticamente una delle strategie di raffreddamento praticate quando affronta le sfide del mondo reale.
