Mightier hilft Kindern (6–14 Jahre), die mit ihren Emotionen zu kämpfen haben. Dazu gehören Kinder, die unter Wutanfällen, Frustration, Angstzuständen oder sogar einer Diagnose wie ADHS leiden.
Unser Programm wurde von Ärzten des Boston Children’s Hospital und der Harvard Medical School entwickelt und bietet Kindern eine unterhaltsame und spannende Möglichkeit, spielerisch ihre Emotionen zu regulieren und zu einem mächtigeren Spieler zu werden!
Die Spieler tragen während des Spiels einen Pulsmesser, der es ihnen ermöglicht, ihre Emotionen zu sehen und direkt mit ihnen in Kontakt zu treten. Während des Spiels reagiert Ihr Kind auf seinen Puls. Steigt der Puls, wird das Spiel schwieriger. Es übt, seinen Puls zu senken (eine Pause einzulegen), um Belohnungen zu erhalten. Mit der Zeit und durch regelmäßiges Üben/Spielen entstehen so „Mightier-Momente“, in denen Ihr Kind bei realen Herausforderungen automatisch atmet, innehält oder eine seiner erlernten Abkühlstrategien anwendet.
