The eCompanion app is used to provide & receive Companion care services in Australia, and is ideal for people who would otherwise spend a large part of the day alone and who require some light assistance. It enables safe and independent living at home.

eCompanion Care offers companionship and conversation for emotional support by friendly home-based care companions that 'connect’ remotely via an eHomeCare simplified 4G mobile tablet, or your own Android device. They keep daily a watchful eye out, remind of daily medications or outside temperature changes, maintain the care agenda, making appointments, and discuss topics of interest.
It functions as an extra set of eyes and feet for your loved one. Family members can work or handle other activities knowing their loved one isn't left alone, providing a peace of mind. This is where affordable home care starts…
Detail of the eCompanion Care service:
Care Companion: eHomeCare employed resource for social Interactions, skilled in the art of social conversation like storytelling and reminiscing. The Care Companion might have completed Certificate III (Specialising in Ageing, Home and Community), but are not medically trained in eg. nursing.
Interaction: the occasion where the user and the Care Companion communicate with each other using secure video technology and the eCompanion app.
Talk block: a time-based service related to the duration of the Interaction, measured in periods of 15 minutes.
Preferred Daytime slot: a window of time when the Interaction is planned to start, either Morning (between 9am and 1pm) or Afternoon (between 1pm and 5pm).
Public Holiday exceptions: Interactions will not take place when scheduled slot is a public holiday, unless explicitly contracted.
