Questa è la versione gratuita a turni di D-Day 1944, un gioco di strategia a turni molto apprezzato ambientato sul fronte occidentale durante la seconda guerra mondiale.
Il generale Eisenhower si è dimesso e tu sei al comando delle forze d'invasione alleate - unità di carri armati, unità aviotrasportate, fanteria e aeronautica - e lo scopo del gioco è fuggire dalle teste di sbarco del D-Day e liberare gran parte dei tedeschi- occupare la Francia il più possibile, il più rapidamente possibile. Per avere la possibilità di conquistare il primo posto nella Hall of Fame devi circondare abilmente le unità tedesche comandate da Erwin Rommel, combattendo sia le divisioni regolari della Wehrmacht che le temute unità corazzate Panzer VI (Tiger I).
