L'applicazione offre apprendimento tematico, quiz e visualizzazione 3D delle regole COLREG 20 a 31 (Regolamento Internazionale per Prevenire gli Abbordi in Mare) così come un motore di ricerca per fanali e segnali di navi.
Per ogni regola viene proposta una visualizzazione 3D, su cui è possibile interagire toccando / spostando la camera o scegliendo un'area di osservazione.
Il motore di ricerca visuale consente di trovare la regola RIPAM associata a qualsiasi osservazione.
L'inventario delle diverse fanali e segnali consente di familiarizzare con la terminologia marittima e di individuare ciò che è osservabile per identificare una nave.
La classificazione delle regole per tipo di nave consente un apprendimento progressivo e strutturato. Per accompagnare questa fase di apprendimento e convalidare i tuoi progressi, vengono proposti diversi test.
L'applicazione è senza pubblicità, offre contenuti premium, e non richiede la connessione a Internet.
