What's New in Version 8.2

With this release, we’ve continued to listen closely to your feedback.

Editing airports - We’ve made some changes to the home screen to allow you to search and select airports much more easily.

Service Animal relief areas - We’ve made this more apparent to help you find relief areas for your service animals.

With this new release:

Traveler modes - This allows you to choose either business or leisure traveler mode.

Security wait times - This showcases how long you can expect to wait at that airport.

A different home screen - This highlights airport information and links in a tiled information format.

Better search! - We’ve invested time in tagging airport data so you can find whatever you need!

We’ve made a few quick design updates to the app experience:

- More space to enter your tip. You can now see you enter text content, instead of scrolling to the right.
- All tags in view. You can now see all the tags to add to your tip.
- Easier search. We’ve broadened our search component, allowing us to add multiple terms for searching!

8.0 Release Notes

With this release, we’re launching the newest addition to the flightSpeak toolset - TipCentral!

TipCentral as the hub for the flightSpeak community of travelers around the world. As a community, experts can leave tips across multiple airports, allowing airports to become easier for every traveler!

You can view what establishments have coupons, as well as filter for available coupons at your selected airport.

We’ve focused on making the flightSpeak experience much simpler.

The Airport Gallery: This is a NEW experience - a combination of the Sightings and Stories experience from previous versions.

Design changes: You’ll notice a new splash screen, as well as a different loading screen experience.

With our latest release, we’re bringing two new features to you: notifications and reviews.

With notifications, you’ll now be able to know when a fellow traveler has liked or commented on your postings.

With detailed reviews, you’ll now be able to add comments to your 5-star reviews, so other travelers can see just how you felt about your visit.

With our newest release, we’re bringing Wi-Fi information from multiple airports around the world.
You’ll be able to see:

- Is Wi-FI available?
- Is it free?
- Connection instructions
You’ll also be able to rate your Wi-Fi experience, giving other yourself travelers insights into the quality of Wi-Fi.

7.8.6 Release Notes

Itinerary Delete: We’ve introduced the ability to delete a travel segment in your itinerary. Our goal for introducing this feature was to help give you greater control over your itineraries.

Airline logos: We’ve added the logos for your airlines to make your itinerary richer and more visually pleasing.

Bug fixes: We’re always striving to make your experience better. This build includes several bug fixes to improve the overall performance and usability of the app.

Redesigned Directory: We've completely redesigned the airport screen to make it simpler to use.

Itinerary support: You can now forward the emails you receive when you book your flights to [email protected] and they will be automatically added to app.

Itinerary Friends: We will show you your Facebook friends who currently use flightSpeak in the cities you're traveling to and from.

Bug fixes: This build includes several bug fixes to improve the overall performance and usability of the app.

Nearby Airports: You asked us to help you find the airports closest to you and we listened. We're happy to introduce the Nearby Airports feature when you're changing your airport.

Welcome Emails: We wanted to be more welcoming so now we send a nice welcome email to everyone new to the flightSpeak community.

Bug Fixes: We are always working to make the app faster and more stable. The build includes some bug fixes and stability improvements.

We're proud to include links to Google Maps for every airport that we have listed.

We've added specific locations so you know exactly where to find the shops and restaurants you're looking for.

Based on feedback, we're opening up flightSpeak to users in: Brazil, Canada, China, France, India, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Netherlands, Turkey, UAE, and the UK.

In response to requests for faster loading times, we have doubled down on improving the performance of the application.
