Though it’s taken a long time to develop and translate everything into English, we’re finally ready to release it.
Despite a lot of information that can’t be satisfactorily translated in advance (i.e. long body forecast text), we hope this release is a step in the right direction for information accessibility in Japan.
Let us know of any problems via the Contact Us screen in the Menu section of the app.

今回のアップデートでは、パフォーマンスの向上や計算ライブラリの軽量化を行いました。このアップデートにより、アプリの起動にかかる時間が40%程度削減されています。
起動時に見えるNERVロゴの時間が短くなってしまったことを開発チーム一同、寂しく思っています。（心の声：NERVロゴーーーー！）
防災は時間との勝負でもあり、緊急地震速報や津波警報など、時間的猶予のない危険がユーザーに迫っていることを伝える上で、通知をタップしてから予報画面が表示されるまでの時間をミリ秒単位で短くしなければなりません。私たちは、機能だけではない、「1秒でも早く伝えるため」の速さにもこだわっています。緊急地震速報の通知をタップしたときに、すぐに予報画面が表示されることも、防災アプリに求められていることだと思います。

大変長らくお待たせ致しました…。ご要望が多かった通知音を確認できる機能を追加しました。
＜通知のテスト方法＞
［メニュー］タブ→各種設定［プッシュ通知］→ページ下部「情報ごとの通知テスト」からテストできます。
なお、「大津波警報・津波警報」と「国民保護情報」の重大な通知は、大変恐ろしい音がするため、テストする際には十分ご注意ください。私たちもできれば聞きたくない音です。

3月31日に諏訪之瀬島の噴火警戒レベルが引き上げられるなど、火山活動が活発になっています。
今回は、火山関係を中心にアップデートを行いました。
【更新内容】
・「噴火速報」および「噴火警報・予報」の地図と詳細情報の表示に対応しました。
・「降灰予報」に対応しました。
＜降灰予報＞
・降灰予報（定時）を発表中の火山では、「やや多量」以上の降灰が予測された場合に通知します。
・降灰予報（定時）が未発表の火山では、予測された降灰が「少量」のみであっても必要に応じて通知します。
主に鹿児島県や宮崎県の皆様向けの機能になるかと思いますが、ぜひご活用ください。

日本海側を中心に各地で大雪が続いていることから、レーダー画面に積雪情報を追加しました。レイヤー切り替えボタンから「積雪」を選択することで、解析積雪深レイヤーを表示できます。また「アメダス」レイヤーにも積雪深を表示するようにしました。
アーリーアクセスが有効な場合は、積雪レイヤーを過去24時間分参照できるようになっています。
【緊急地震速報の現在地予想機能】
これまでアーリーアクセス機能として提供していた緊急地震速報の現在地予想機能をすべてのユーザーに公開しました。
地図上にP波・S波の到達状況が表示されるとともに、位置情報サービスを有効にしている端末では、現在地の予想震度を表示し、S波到達までの秒数をカウントダウンします。
