Taqreeb al-Tahdheeb is one of the books of al-Jarh and al-Ta’deel, written by al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (773-852). Thus, the discussion of their conditions was confined to twelve ranks, and their classes were restricted to twelve levels.
