The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is a domestic T20 Cricket competiton of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).The inaugural edition of the TNPL will feature eight teams, playing a total of 31 matches (28 league matches, two Semi-finals and the final). Chennai, Dindigul (Natham) and Tirunelveli are the venues.
Chennai will host the opening match as well as the semis and the final. STAR India will be the broadcaster.
The tournament will include top Tamil Nadu cricketers across all divisions of TNCA.
