With the “My DKV” app, Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG (DKV) provides its customers with an app for submitting receipts and an electronic health record (eGA). Security
As a private health insurance company, we are committed to providing the best possible protection for your health data. In order to use the full functions of the app, so-called 2-factor authentication is necessary. After an initial registration step in which you have to enter information such as last name, first name, insurance number and date of birth, you can use the app's basic functions. The focus here is on the invoice submission feature. For the second registration step, which is necessary for using the eGA, a TAN (= transaction number) must be entered, which will be provided to you by post or as an SMS. After entering the TAN, you can then use all functions (eGA) of the “My DKV” app.
Other Information
DKV provides you with the app free of charge. The prerequisite for using the app is existing insurance cover with DKV. Please note that an internet connection is required to use it. The costs of use (e.g. for data transmission) depend on the tariffs of your network provider.
