You can bring Sky’s latest experiences to life and immerse yourself in every moment of the latest Sky VR content, experiencing it like never before. From sports to cinema, news to entertainment, we have an expansive range of high quality VR content, with something new every month. And it’s waiting for you to bring it to life.
Highlights to come include:
• Bringing football fans closer to the action in places they don’t normally have access to.
• Photorealistic 3D holograms of Anthony Joshua in action, allowing viewers to experience like never before what it’s like to come face to face with the world champion.
• A great range of Sky Original Production scripted content, from the opportunity to delve behind the scenes of Britannia, to a fully narrative story for the smash-hit Italian drama Gomorrah, which was especially written for VR.
Device compatibility :
Download this app to view without a headset or with a 360º viewer, such as Google Cardboard (please check the 360º viewer is compatible with your smartphone).
Your Android smartphone will require:
Gyroscope to check the tilt or twist movements of your smartphone.
Accelerometer to detect smartphone orientation (almost guaranteed for any phone).
Operating System 7.0 Nougat or above.
Please note performance may suffer for smartphones that have reduced processor, RAM and screen resolution specifications. HTC devices are not currently supported.

Aggiornamento Sky VR 2.1.0

In this release we’ve updated the Sky VR app to support stereoscopic video, offering greater depth and immersion. Stereoscopic video includes ‘Painting the Future’, ‘Asteroids!’, ‘Giselle’, ‘The Day The World Changed’ and new release, ‘The People’s House’.
