NARF Tablet Radio is a simple and robust application for Honeycomb tablets and ICS phones that can play arbitrary web radio streams (e.g. 1LIVE, SWR3, WDR2, etc.). NARF Tablet Radio is small, simple to use and flexibly configurable. It supports automatic reconnects to cope with brief wifi connection losses, looks better than most phone applications. It is free and ad-free. It supports pls and m3u playlists to provide 2-click access to thousands of radio stations online. You can also use it to play linked mp3 files such as podcasts managed by Google reader. What else could you ask for? I don't know. So feel free to tell me ;-).

Use of permissions:
READ_PHONE_STATE: Used to disable radio during incoming calls.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to disable radio if wifi goes down.
WAKE_LOCK: Used to keep CPU and WLAN active, as long as the radio plays.
INTERNET: Used to download m3u and pls files from the Internet. Used to download meta data from the stream.
EXTENSION_PERMISSION: Required for integration with Sony SmartWatch.

Aggiornamento NARF Tablet Radio 3.3

3.2/3.3:

Replaced streaming urls for DRS, HR, OE1, Radio Swiss, The Hits Radio.
Removed (broken) streaming urls for Absolute Radio.
Fixed size of notification icons to avoid cropping on phones.
Changed widget layout to reduce icon size on phones (in particular mine ;-)).
Added black drop shadow to widget text to increase similarity to launcher icon.
Increased resolution of all icons to reduce scaling blur on dense displays.
Changes by Igor: Added translation for UK/BE. Updated RU translation.
