This the first app in the Hairies series designed specifically for young children to help learn the alphabet, phonics and start recognising basic 3-letter words.

All my children loved it. It helped them learn the letter sounds and read first words. I’ve tried a lot of kids phonics apps and this was one of the best. – OJRocks
Bought this for my 5 year old daughter to help with phonics. She quickly learnt her letter sounds and loved the animations. Sound works perfectly (as long as my toddler hasn't fiddled with the settings!) Best feature is that when writing letters if they are correctly or incorrectly formed a noise and animation give instant feedback. Teachers have said she has excellent handwriting for her age- she won't listen to my advice but does follow the app, so it must be helping! – Lollyrecords
