Esta es la versión por turnos de Battle of the Bulge, un juego de estrategia por turnos ambientado en el frente occidental durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
La histórica batalla tuvo lugar en diciembre de 1944 en las Ardenas, Bélgica, donde las fuerzas estadounidenses lucharon contra una gran ofensiva alemana. Fue la batalla terrestre más grande de la Segunda Guerra Mundial en la que Estados Unidos participó directamente.
En el juego, tienes el control de las fuerzas armadas de los EE. UU. y diriges las divisiones de infantería, aerotransportadas y blindadas estadounidenses. Tu primera tarea es sobrevivir al ataque alemán inicial, conocido como la Ofensiva de las Ardenas, mientras mantienes tus divisiones en orden de combate. Después de reagruparte, debes contener el ataque alemán y evitar que el enemigo llegue a Bruselas, ya que esto les permitiría una ruta hacia la estratégica ciudad portuaria de Amberes. Una vez que hayas detenido la ofensiva enemiga, haz retroceder a las unidades alemanas y destruye tantas como puedas.
