Esta é uma versão limitada por turnos do Battle of the Bulge, um jogo de estratégia baseado em turnos ambientado na Frente Ocidental durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial.
A batalha histórica ocorreu em dezembro de 1944 nas Ardenas, na Bélgica, onde as forças americanas lutaram contra uma grande ofensiva alemã. Foi a maior batalha terrestre da Segunda Guerra Mundial em que os Estados Unidos participaram diretamente.
No jogo, você controla as forças armadas dos EUA e comanda a infantaria americana, divisões aéreas e blindadas. Sua primeira tarefa é sobreviver ao ataque alemão inicial, conhecido como Ofensiva das Ardenas, enquanto mantém suas divisões em ordem de combate. Após o reagrupamento, você deve conter o ataque alemão e impedir que o inimigo chegue a Bruxelas, pois isso permitiria uma rota para a estratégica cidade portuária de Antuérpia. Depois de parar a ofensiva inimiga, empurre as unidades alemãs para trás e destrua o máximo possível.
