Über AhoTTS
AhoTTS (Paketname: com.aholab.ahottsandroid) wird von Aholab UPV/EHU entwickelt und die neueste Version von AhoTTS 7.0.3 wurde am 17. November 2025 aktualisiert. AhoTTS ist ein Text-to-Speech-System (TTS), das von der Forschungsgruppe Aholab der Universität des Baskenlandes (UPV/EHU) entwickelt wurde. AhoTTS ist als Sprachausgabe-Engine auf Android-Geräten vorinstalliert und kann von jeder Anwendung genutzt werden, um Bildschirmtext mit einer KI-basierten synthetischen Stimme vorzulesen: in Baskisch, Spanisch, Katalanisch und Galicisch.
Die AhoTTS-Anwendung verfügt über eine benutzerfreundliche Oberfläche, auf der Nutzer Texte eingeben und direkt anhören können. Sie bietet außerdem erweiterte Funktionen wie Verknüpfungen zu häufig verwendeten Sätzen und einen Verlauf der synthetisierten Sätze.
Um AhoTTS als Standard-Sprachausgabe-Engine auf Ihrem Android-Gerät festzulegen, gehen Sie zu:
Einstellungen > Sprache & Eingabe > Text-to-Speech-Ausgabe und wählen Sie AhoTTS aus.
Dort können Sie die Sprache und die Sprechgeschwindigkeit auswählen. In den Einstellungen der Sprachausgabe-Engine können Sie sich Stimmen für jede Sprache anhören und herunterladen. Personalisierte Stimmen der AhoMyTTS-Plattform (https://aholab.ehu.eus/ahomytts) können ebenfalls über diese App genutzt werden.
