Lost an important video? Data Recovery performs a deep scan of your device's storage to find and restore deleted files that are no longer visible in your gallery or media library.
When you delete a video, photo, or other file, Android removes it from the media index — but the data often remains on your device. Normal apps and gallery viewers cannot see these files. Data Recovery goes beyond the standard media library to scan hidden directories, app caches, and thumbnail databases where your deleted data may still exist.
🎬 RECOVER DELETED VIDEOS
Deep scan your device for lost MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM, FLV, WMV, M4V, 3GP, and TS video files. Filter results by duration, resolution (SD, HD, Full HD, 2K/4K), orientation, and source folder. Preview videos before recovering them.
📸 RECOVER DELETED PHOTOS
Find deleted JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, GIF, and RAW photos (CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF, and more). Recover thumbnails of deleted photos extracted from Android's thumbnail cache databases.
📄 RECOVER DOCUMENTS
Find deleted PDFs, documents, and other files from your device storage.
🔍 DEEP SCANNING TECHNOLOGY
Data Recovery uses three scanning methods to maximize file recovery:
• Media Library Scan — quickly checks Android's media index for recently trashed files
• Deep Storage Scan — walks your entire device storage including hidden directories, messaging app folders, Downloads, and SD card to find orphaned files invisible to normal apps
• Thumbnail Cache Extraction — reads binary thumbnail database files to recover deleted photo previews that still exist in Android's Gallery cache
This is why Data Recovery requires full storage access — deleted files are removed from Android's media index and can only be found by directly scanning the filesystem.
🔒 PRIVACY FIRST
All scanning and recovery happens locally on your device. Your files are never uploaded, copied, or shared with any server. No sign-up or account required.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
No recovery app can guarantee results. Success depends on how recently the file was deleted, whether the storage has been overwritten, and your device's file system. For the best chance: stop saving new files and scan as soon as possible after deletion.
📂 PERMISSIONS
Data Recovery requires All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on Android 11+) because deleted files are removed from Android's media index and cannot be found through standard media APIs. The app must directly scan the filesystem to locate recoverable data. This permission is used only for scanning and restoring files you select.
