Cells Calculator is a hemocytometer and cell-count calculator for the laboratory: cell culture, haematology and teaching. Count at the bench, get the result straight away, and keep a record.
CHAMBER COUNTS
• Improved Neubauer and Fuchs-Rosenthal chambers
• Tap the squares you count, or use the 4 WBC and 5 RBC presets
• Large tap counter for each square, or type the numbers in
• Cells per µL and per mL, dilution factor, and cells in your stock volume
• Count-quality check: spread between squares (CV) and counting error from the number of cells counted
VIABILITY (TRYPAN BLUE)
• Live and dead counts across two chambers, five zones each
• Viability %, live and dead cells per mL
• Trypan blue timer, so you count within 3–5 minutes of staining
WBC DIFFERENTIAL
• Tap tiles for segmented and band neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, other cells and nRBC
• 100 or 200 cells, with undo
• Percentages and absolute counts, flagged against adult or children's reference ranges that you can edit
• Morphology comments such as toxic granulation, left shift or smudge cells
