Cat MeOUCHio (Original japanese gameしょぼんのアクション Shobon no Akushon?) is a 2D Japanese freeware video game released in 2007. The game contains elements parodying the classic video games and is known for its high level of difficulty and unpredictable traps. The original Cat MeOUCHio was created by a Japanese developer named ちく (Chiku) over the course of three days in February of 2007. The game was inspired by a flash game titled The Big Adventure of a Dead End Life (人生ｵﾜﾀ＼(^o^)／の大冒険 Jinsei Owata no Daibōken?),which was often played by members on the text board 2channel.
Cat MeOUCHio for Android is a modern re-implementation of the classic game for mobile devices so that it can be played for many more years by the fans of the game.
The player controls a kitten-like character who must venture through side-scrolling platform levels similar to classic platformers. The characters in the game are all inspired by emoji's used by the members of a text board very popular in japan called 2channel. The story tells us that: the world of 2ch is in danger! The Muscular Evil Chicken has stolen the sacred artichoke from the great forum administrator. With the power of sacred artichoke, he tries to manipulate the peaceful emoticons inhabitants of 2ch for his evil purposes.The only hope of salvation of the 2ch world lies in Syobon (`· ω · '), a young cat-emoticon. Syobon, with its multiple lives, is the only one who can challenge the power of the sacred artichoke and beat the muscular chicken.
