"Kaleel and Demna" is a compilation of animal language anecdotes in India and in Sanskrit. Under Khosrow Anushirvan Sassanid, this book was translated into Middle Persian, Pahlavi. After the Arab invasion of Iran during the Hajj rule, The second century AH "Roozbeh", later known as "Abdullah bin Mufaq", translated this book from Pahlavi to Arabic.
During the reign of Nasr ibn Ahmad Samani, "Abolfazl Muhammad Balami" translated it from Arabic to Persian. Rudaki became the father of Persian poetry at Nasr's command. Then Abu al-Maali Nasrallah ibn Muhammad Abdul Hamid, known as "Nasrallah the secretary" at the time of Bahram Shah Ghaznavi transformed it from poetry into prose and turned it into kale and demna. He called Bahramshahi. This edition also includes additions to Iranian and Islamic anecdotes.
In 1816 the translation of Clay and Demena was published in Paris. A few years later its German translation was published in German and English in England. Since then other translations of this book have been published and published in different languages one after the other.
