Vortex pulls data from Google Awareness API and Yahoo API which contains weather and location info and uses them to manipulate the flowing particles. You will see different particles in different weather, time, season and activity states.

What's New:
Well although this update seems normal it is a huge update as the underlying framework was rewritten from the ground up to free Vortex from a now-abandoned dependency. Also, I am sorry for the late update, as I was busy applying for Master's programs in CS in the past few months.
