Pokemon Go is a high battery use application, and it can eat through battery faster than you would think.
The built-in battery saver freezes your screen sometimes while trying to wake up. However, the app does not run when screen is off.
PowerGo is created in this case, specifically for Pokemon Go trainers.
It dims your screen while walking alone for targets with your phone, saving valuable battery life. Pokemon Go is still running and you do not need to worry about pocket dialing or accidentally pressing, as your screen wakes up only when you double tap or draw screen lock you've set up.
Instruction:
1. Get into PowerGo.
2. Upon tapping Start button Power Go icon will be added to notification bar.
3. Switch to Pokemon Go
4. Tap the notification to dim your screen.
5. Double Tap to lighten the screen.
Helpfulness:
1. Brightness will be automatically set to the minimal value, with a black - overlay screen. This, for Amoled screen's devices, means close to zero battery drain while, in LCD screens, the lowest brightness will help a lot to save battery;
2. While Power Go is running, you can put the phone in your pocket, because the touchscreen will be disabled like the hardware keys too , only Volume and Power buttons still works;
3. When the device starts to vibrate because a wild Pokemon is near, just double tap on the screen to lighten the screen!
Catch more pokemons with longer battery life!
