Malo is an interactive learning resource for Waitemata DHB staff to support their day to day work when engaging with Pacific children, young people and their families.
Interactive features within the app include pronunciation of Pacific words, body parts and anatomy; common greetings and phrases, prayers and songs; diseases and medication; support with pronouncing and learning assessment terms, as well as descriptions of different pacific views (Fonofale, Talanoa, Seitapu) and important pacific protocols.
