‘Mailed’ – an android application that helps you to send mails with attachments and share your files with others as well. ‘Mailed’ is mainly created in order to realize the glorious past and present innovations of the Postal Services in Chennai, India. On (9th October, 2015), World Post Day is celebrated across the globe. And now, it is our time to appreciate the innovations in postal services which helped man to transfer information to each other. This app is dedicated to the postal runners that we had, the jutkas that delivered mails within the city, the postal services available now and to all the people of India.
The salient features of ‘Mailed’ app are:
• You can send mails to people instantly.
• Attachment of files is made possible.
• It allows you to transfer files through Hike, Bluetooth, Email, Gmail and Shareit.
• The app is just 1.72 MB.
• Compatible with all android devices from Android 2.2 and up.
Special Thanks to The Times of India newspaper for featuring the article ‘A RED LETTER DAY FOR CHENNAI POST’ on 9th October,2015, which inspired me to develop the ‘MAILED’ app. Let this app be the symbol of great success of Postal Services in our country.
