Beware: The contents of a file are not cleared when normally deleting a file. Forensic tools and file recovery tools can be used to recover files which have not been securely deleted.
FShred is a simple, handy app that makes deleted files on your internal storage unrecoverable by overwriting all available space with random data. This means recoverable data from deleted files, such as images, videos, databases, is replaced with useless bytes supplied by a random generator.
This app has been tested with multiple file recovery applications such as GT File Recovery and no deleted files could be recovered. If you are still able to recover files after running FShred, please try and run it again.
Please Note: This app does not delete ANY existing files when 'shredding' your internal storage. Your existing data will be unchanged throughout and after the process.
This application contains no advertisements or in app purchases. It is completely free and convenient to use and will remain this way forever.

- You can now send logs to me, the developer if you are experiencing any issues while shredding storage devices. To do this, please click the new 'Send Logs' button at the bottom of the app AFTER you have attempted to shred your desired storage device.

What's New:
- You can now show ALL storage devices in the device selection dialog. Please not that some of these devices are not writable and show up simply because they are mounted. For example, you should not try to write to devices under the directory /mnt/media_rw and there is little point in shredding /mnt/obb or /mnt/asec or any of their mounted subdirectories. To show all devices, tap the 'Show All' option in the device selection dialog.
