FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is CarDash?
A: We are a Silicon Valley technology company that is completely re-thinking the car ownership experience. CarDash lets customers do their research and book a mechanic - without the stress and annoyance of calling five different shops and not knowing if you’re making a good decision. Our goal is to make managing your vehicle simple and transparent, and to help you save money in the process.
Q: Where is CarDash available?
A: CarDash is available throughout the United States. Currently, we have partnerships with national chains throughout the country and independent repair facilities in Los Angeles and San Francisco Metro areas. We are constantly adding new independent repair facilities and will be expanding to other cities soon.
Q: How is this different from other services?
A: Whereas other providers help give you some of the factors you need to make a decision, CarDash aims to provide everything you need in one place: ratings, pricing information, shop quality differences, location, job capabilities, vehicles worked on, and much more. You can find a hotel, book a flight, and hail a taxi knowing you made a good decision. Why can’t you get your car repaired that way too?
Q: How long is this service free?
A: The app will always be free.
Q: How would I use my roadside assistance?
A: You can call the Roadside Assistance number from within the CarDash app. You will need to verify your membership by providing your name, CarDash member number, and vehicle. Activating your roadside assistance takes 7 days.
Q: What’s included in my roadside assistance?
A: Covered services depend on your plan tier, but coverage starts at one event and a maximum tow radius of 5 miles on the basic plan.
Q: When does my roadside assistance coverage begin?
A: Your coverage begins 7 days after adding a vehicle on your account.
