О Japanese Tales
This app contains folk tales and children's stories from Japan, some are written by Iwaya Sazanami, with illustration from Kakuzo Fujiyama and translated by Yei Theodora Ozaki.
The twenty-two stories contained in this volume include one of the best-known Japanese tales, The Tongue-Cut Sparrow, The Ogre of Rashomon, Adventures of Kintaro the Golden Boy.
Other notable stories:

- Princess Kaguya (The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter)
- Momotaro
- Rai-den, the Thunder
- Horaizan
- A Legend of Kwannon
some of the stories have been rendered into English by Yei Theodora Ozaki that it gives the meaning of Japanese words and terms and explains many of the customs for the benefit of non-Japanese readers. In the preface she states that her aim is to bring these beautiful tales to those outside her country so that they may love and enjoy them too.
