Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa are the main regions where Ndebele is spoken. Targeted at English language speakers and using the fun and easy way with words/phrases, games and lots more, this app teaches Northern Ndebele language--a language belonging to the Nguni group of Bantu languages in Southern Africa along with Zulu, Xhosa and Swati and an official language of Zimbabwe along with Shona, English, Chewa, Tswana, Sotho, Kalanga, Koisan, Tonga, Venda, Xhosa, Chibarwe, Nambya, Ndau, Shangani and sign language.
The Learn Ndebele app has thousands of useful words and phrases that help you navigate any situation (shopping, housing, family, emergency, greetings, eating, travelling, etc.) and teach you not just the language but the culture as well. Tap a word or phrase and the app will speak it out loud so no more guessing about how to pronounce words! Enhance your vocabulary daily with our Word of the Day sent directly to your mobile phone.
