О Dog Whistle Sound
A dog whistle (also known as silent whistle or Galton's whistle) is a type of whistle that emits sound in the ultrasonic range, which people cannot hear but some other animals can, including dogs and domestic cats, and is used in their training.
* NOTE:
Some smartphones has low quality speaker and can not play such hi - freq sounds. This isn't application fault.
Some tips to use the dog whistle:
Adjust the pitch the whistle to your dog. Even dogs can't hear all frequencies. Wait until he is asleep and gently make sound on the highest frequency with whistle. Dog whistle app has ability to adjust the frequency. Turn down frequency settings and continue testing until your dog perks up. You will then know you have reached a frequency he can hear.
