О Character Animation
This app has four screens - Menu, About, Instructions, and Scan.
To move between screens
- The app will start in the Menu screen.
- To scan characters or letters touch "Scan".
- To see this page touch "Instructions".
- To read about SpeaKit and WhiteGate touch "About".
- To return to the previous screen touch the arrow at the top-left of each screen.
To scan a Chinese character or an Arabic letter in a SpeaKit book
- Characters or letters which can be scanned for animation are indicated by the scan icon
- On the Menu screen touch “Scan” and select the character or letter you wish to scan.
- With the screen facing you, hold the device over the character or letter.
- The character or letter will be scanned automatically as you hover over it.
- On successful scan the stroke order or character writing animation will run and repeat.
- Touch “Select” to scan a different character or letter, or touch the arrow to return to the Menu.
