Korg KaossilatorやMoogシンセサイザーにインスパイアされたSaucillatorは、モバイルデバイスをデジタルシンセサイザーの制作・演奏プラットフォームへと変貌させます。タッチスクリーンを使ってオシレーターやエフェクトを操作できるだけでなく、ライブルーピングや録音も可能です。初心者にも使いやすい設計でありながら、従来のシンセサイザーユーザーが愛する奥深く複雑な機能もすべて備えています。
マルチトラックルーパーとビートジェネレーターを搭載し、シンセループの作成やビート／クリックトラックとの同期が可能です。ループは演奏中に変更、切り替え、追加できます。
タッチスクリーンのx軸とy軸を使って、オリジナルのモジュラーシンセサイザーを演奏できます。x軸は振幅（音量）、y軸は周波数（ピッチ）に対応します。再生はループ再生、録音、パラメトリックEQによるイコライジングも可能です。
演奏機能に加え、ユーザーは独自の音色とユーザー定義のエフェクトを組み合わせたカスタムシンセサイザーを作成できます。サイン波、矩形波、ノコギリ波、パルス波、ノイズ波、テルミン、「歌うノコギリ波」、「エレクトリック・イール」、「スタースライド」など、多彩な音色が用意されています。これらの音色はもちろん、ユーザーが作成したシンセサイザーも、倍音、振幅、位相を様々に組み合わせることで、オリジナルのサウンドを作り出すことができます。
各シンセサイザーには、エンベロープ（ADSR - アタック＆リリース）、ビブラートLFO（レート＆デプス）、トレモロ、ディレイ、ディストーション、パラメトリックEQ、ノートラグ（ポルタメント）といったカスタマイズ可能なエフェクトパラメーターが搭載されています。さらに、エンベロープやLFOでモジュレーション可能なフィルター（ローパス、ハイパス、バンドパス）も搭載されています。
作成したカスタムシンセは、使いやすい内蔵共有ツールを使ってSaucillatorコミュニティと共有できます。他のユーザーのシンセをダウンロードしたり、自分のシンセをアップロードしたり、すべてアプリ内から操作可能です！
