NetMonster は、近くの携帯電話基地局に関する情報を収集、表示、保存します。各タワーには固有の識別子のセットがあり、NetMonster がそれらを表示します。一部の地域および国では、正確な位置情報が利用可能です。
携帯電話がアクティブに接続しているすべてのセルは、アプリを終了するまで継続的にログに保存されます。手動で位置を修正し、マップ上のセルを参照してフィルタリングし、最終的にすべてのデータをエクスポートできます。
また、NetMonster は信号の変化を視覚化し、特定の測定が何を意味するのか、それが受信品質や理論上の最大速度にどのような影響を与えるのかについて簡単な説明を提供します。
サポートされるネットワークは、GSM、CDMA、WCDMA、TD-SCDMA、4G LTE、5G NSA、および 5G SA です。 LTE に関しては、NetMonster は集約されたキャリア (いわゆる LTE-Advanced) も検出します。 5G NSA が利用可能なエリアでは、NSA が使用中か導入されたばかりかを確認でき、4G+5G NSA のキャリア アグリゲーションも利用できます。
