De RouteYou App laat toe om een route te kiezen uit een aanbod van meer dan twee miljoen recreatieve routes (fietstochten, wandelingen, motorroutes, MTB trajecten, paard-en menroutes, kanoroutes, skeelerroutes, ...). Deze werden aangemaakt, opgeladen en gedeeld op de website http://www.routeyou.com. Ook jij kan daar routes maken en gebruiken op deze app! En dat allemaal gratis!
Het hoofddoel van deze app is om je te gidsen langs vooraf uitgestippelde routes die ter beschikking staan op het RouteYou-platform. Om je route te zoeken in de buurt van je huidige positie is er een handige overzichtskaart (Route Overzicht) of een lijst met alle routes in de buurt (Routelijst).
Wens je een specifieke route te zoeken, dan biedt de Routezoeker tal van opties. Na het selecteren van de route kan je de route bekijken en afleggen.
MyRouteYou Plus-account
Met een MyRouteYou Plus-account op RouteYou kunt u routes downloaden om offline te gebruiken en kan je het RouteYou platform advertentievrij gebruiken zowel op de app als op de website. Ook krijg je met een Plus-account tal van extra functies op de website, zoals de mogelijkheid om routes samen te voegen, hun startpunt of richting te veranderen, of om bestaande routes als referentie te gebruiken bij het plannen van je eigen route.
Je kan een MyRouteYou Plus-abonnement nemen voor 1 maand of voor 1 jaar. Abonnementen worden automatisch vernieuwd maar kunnen tot 24 uur voor het einde van de lopende periode geannuleerd worden.
