コンソールは自分のネットワーク上のサーバーしか見つけられません。MC LAN Proxyはそこに1台置きます。スマホの上で小さなプロキシを動かし、それがコンソールのLANゲーム一覧に現れて、選んだBedrockサーバーへゲームの通信を中継します。DNSの設定も、PCも、ルーターの変更も必要ありません。
MINECRAFT 26.60 と NETHERNET
Minecraft は LAN ゲームの見つけ方を新しい方式に置き換えています。MC LAN Proxy は従来の方式と新しい NetherNet の両方に同時に応答するので、サーバーはこれまでどおり見つかります。アプリを更新するだけで、切り替える設定はありません。

Nintendo Switch について — 実験的機能
Switch はスマートフォンがホストする LAN ゲームを一覧に表示しないため、上記の方法では届きません。別の経路をとる第二のモードがあります。Xbox Live にサインインしてサーバーを参加可能なセッションとして公開し、フレンドタブに表示されます。
既定ではオフで、実験的機能と明示しています。Microsoft アカウントが必要です。予備のアカウントをお使いください。アプリはサインインの前にリスクを説明します。なお、このモードは Bedrock クライアントでは動作を確認していますが、Switch 本体ではまだ確認できていません。
使いかた
1. スマホとコンソールを同じWi-Fiにつなぎます。
2. Bedrockサーバーのアドレスを入力するか、保存した一覧から選びます。
3. 開始を押します。
4. コンソールで Play → Friends。LAN Games にサーバーが出てきます。
このバージョンでできること
• サーバーを好きなだけ保存し、どれにでも接続できる
• 保存した各サーバーの接続人数・バージョン・応答速度を表示
• セッション単位で遊び、短い動画を見ると続けて遊べる
• 下に書いた診断機能はすべて、制限なく使える

完全版はアプリの中から解除できます。
長時間のセッションに耐えるつくり
画面を消したままでも接続を保ち、Wi-Fiの切り替えにも耐え、切れた中継を自分で張り直します。アプリを開かなくても、通知やクイック設定から停止できます。
どこが悪いのかを教えます
プレイ中の接続品質をリアルタイムで表示し、開始を押す前に問題を見つける設定チェックがあり、エラーはわかりやすい言葉で出ます。Wi-Fiが違う、ポートが使用中、サーバーが停止中 — どれも有料の向こう側には置いていません。
52言語に対応。
Mojang ABおよびMicrosoftとは関係がなく、承認も提携も受けていません。MinecraftはMojang ABの商標です。
