- Meet the animals!
At first, animals are presented through realistic cartoons with bright colors, so that they attract the kids’ attention. With just a single tap children can listen to the animal’s name and sound, while by long tapping on it kids can see various animal photos. The photos have been carefully selected, so that they portray different stages of the animal’s life (e.g. baby animal). To combine the animal’s name and sound with what kids see in the photos, there is the option to listen to them again, while they are in the photo gallery.
- Fun facts
While in the photo gallery, kids can listen to interesting and fun facts about the animal. These include information on what each animal prefers to eat, where they live or any special characteristics they might have. Apart from being fascinating, these facts also help your kids enrich their vocabulary, since they become familiar with words such as “mammal”, “pouch” etc.
- Time to play!
The app is designed according to the play based approach, so kids learn while playing. For this reason, there are also some amusing games for kids to practice what they have learned and develop their cognitive skills as well!
