*2019-06-20: We have re-built our back-end server from the ground up! The new system should be able to handle more queries faster! Oh, and we're back online. That part's important too! A huge thank you to everyone who sent us debugging information and kept in touch while we figured things out. Provides weather predictions ONLY FOR THE LOWER 48 US states, but accessible world-wide by popular request.
Weather on Wheels makes it simple to check out weather predictions before you hit the road. Enter your starting location, destination and start time and Weather on Wheels will display weather forecasts along your entire route. Adjust your start time to find the best possible conditions for your trip.

Oh, the development tales we could share. The important part is that everything works(again).
- UI reports progress collecting the route data. Long/multiple routes show the progress per field as evaluated.
- There is a regular window when the service predictions are updated which can cause it to be periodically unavailable. Routes requested during updates will wait for the update to complete. If the update fails, users will be alerted.
