Jeque Mishary bin Rashid bin Gharib bin Muhammad Alafasy (árabe: الشيخ مشاري بن راشد بن غريب بن محمد العفاسي; nacido en Kuwait el 5 de septiembre de 1976) es un predicador, imán recitador del Corán y artista nasheed kuwaití. También se le conoce como Abu Rashid (árabe: أبو راشد) (El padre de Rashid).
Vida y carrera de alafasy:
Mishary Alafasy es reconocido por su hermosa voz y su recitación única del Corán. Muchos recitadores han llegado a imitar su modo de recitación. Estudió el Corán en el Colegio del Sagrado Corán de la Universidad Islámica de Medina (Reino de Arabia Saudita). Memorizó el Corán completo en dos años, de 1992 a 1994, y posteriormente se especializó en la lectura décuple del Sagrado Corán. Ha impresionado a numerosos grandes recitadores del Corán con su recitación.
