This app let you easily add magnet links to your Transmission daemon - running on any computer.
Simple find a torrent you like on any webpage, copy the magnet link to your clipboard and the torrent will be instantly added to Transmission and download will begin.
Magnet links are found on all the major torrent sites. On The Pirate Bay you simply long click on "Get this torrent" and select "Copy link address" and in an instant you will get a notification telling you that the torrent has been added and you can then see the download in Transmission.
Technically details:
For the time being the Transmission daemon needs to be reachable from the internet. The reason for this is to have support for various platforms - Android, iOS, Windows Phone and so forth. Therefore, this application is calling a service which then make a call to the Transmission daemon.
Road map:
- Support for LAN based communication
- Simple operations on active torrents; view, delete, create
- RSS auto download
