Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead ist ein rundenbasiertes Überlebensspiel in einer postapokalyptischen Welt. Kämpfe in einer rauen, hartnäckigen, prozedural generierten Welt ums Überleben. Zu Beginn des Spiels erwachen Sie mit verschwommenen Erinnerungen an Gewalt und Terror, als sich die Welt um Sie herum plötzlich auflöste. Jetzt musst du deine Umgebung erkunden und Nahrung, Wasser und Sicherheit sichern. Wer weiß danach? Langfristiges Überleben bedeutet, Fähigkeiten anzuzapfen, die du noch nicht genutzt hast, zu lernen, in dieser neuen Umgebung zu überleben und neue Fähigkeiten zu entwickeln.
