The Bible translation used for the app is the Schlachter 2000 of which appeared in the New Testament in 1999; 2002 was also the editor of the Old Testament to be completed. The revised Schlachter Bible has the answer to reproduce the word of God faithfully and well understood by the reader. This translation is based on the Old Testament of the traditional Masoretic text and in the New Testament of the traditional Greek text of the Reformation, which was also the basis of the old Zurich Bible, the old Luther Bible and the King James Version. The footnotes give in many places to the literal translation, was chosen where the Bible text for clarity and comprehensibility an analogy with the playback. If the text is reproduced verbatim, they bring, where necessary, additional explanations. In addition, where appropriate, other translation facilities have been cited, which can deepen the understanding of the site. Often the footnotes also contain historical factual information and references to other statements of Scripture that can throw revealing light on the message of the text. An aid to Bible study should also be an indication of content related Bible passages, the so-called parallel passages.
