DVR also has the function of an ordinary voice recorder and of course it can be used as a notepad for shopping lists, to-do lists etc.
Special features:
DISGUISED AS A NOTEPAD - you can type into the notepad and the START/STOP buttons are disguised as SAVE/UNDO buttons to hide from suspicious adversaries.
POWER BUTTON ACTIVATION - start recording with your phone in your pocket. You can select the number of power button presses to launch the app and start recording. It works even if the device is locked. App will go to the background when recording starts for added stealth.
MANY STEALTH FEATURES
- Disguise START/STOP buttons as SAVE/UNDO
- You can hide app logo when open
- You can disable the option to view recordings
- App name is not shown (it is called "Notes" when installed)
- You can set the app to give no indication that it records audio
RECORDINGS VIEWER - play, rename, delete, and share your audio recordings.
VIBRATE SETTINGS - you can choose the length of vibration to tell you when recording starts/stops.
AUDIO FILE SETTINGS
- Set maximum file size to save on memory
- Save to Internal Storage or External SD Card (on Android 6 and above)
- Name files by number or by date/time in various formats
- Select audio format
- Select audio sampling rate
- Select encoder bit rate

ADVICE FOR MOST EFFECTIVE USE:
- This app may not work as expected if other apps on your device are recording audio/video at the same time.
- If you open too many other apps while recording is in progress, you increase the chance that the operating system will force your recording to stop to allow other apps to work properly. This depends on which device you are using, available memory, etc.
- If you use the power button to start the app, please ensure that the background service is running. You can find a list of running services in "Settings" - look for "Notes Background Service". If you restart your phone, open the app to start this background service again. When it has started, you can completely close the app and use the power button to start as required.
- When using the power button to start, please test it a few times so you know how fast to press it. The app starts by recognising the screen turning on/off, so if you press so quickly that the screen doesn't turn on/off enough times, the app may not start. We have tested this on many devices but it is impossible to test on all devices. Please test it on your device and let us know if there are any problems.
