Sobre RAR
O RAR da RARLAB é um programa de compressão tudo-em-um original, gratuito, simples, fácil e rápido, compressor, assistente, extrator, gerenciador e até mesmo um explorador básico de arquivos.
O RAR pode criar arquivos RAR e ZIP e descompactar arquivos RAR, ZIP, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, 7z, ISO, ARJ. A lista de funções incluem comando de reparação para arquivos ZIP e RAR danificados, função de referência compatível com a referência do WinRAR da RARLAB, registro de recuperação, volumes de recuperação e habituais, criptografia de arquivos sólidos, utilizando múltiplos núcleos de CPU para compactar os dados.
Adicionalmente aos arquivos ZIP padrão, a função de descompactação suporta ZIP e ZIPX com BZIP2, LZMA e compressão PPMd. O comando Unrar está disponível para todas as versões de arquivos RAR, incluindo o mais recente RAR5. Os formatos de arquivo UDF e ISO ISO9660 podem ser descompactados.

1. When adding files to existing RAR archive, previously stored folders are moved after newly added files. So folder timestamps are set after extracting all files and are not modified when creating files inside of these folders.2. Fixed a bug, which could led to damaged files if they were added to existing semi-solid RAR archive created with -se or -s switches. This bug doesn't affect usual solid and non-solid archives.
